BBQ's or OPEN FIRES  will NOT be permitted on the site during the event.

If you are seen to have one you will be asked to pack up and leave the site by a member of staff.

  • Are there any age restrictions to attend Cotswold Paddlefest?

    Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Yes, dogs are permitted on site, although we ask that you remain as considerate as possible to your fellow visitors who may not love your dog as much as you and that you keep them under control. Please ensure you bring bags to dispose of your dog’s waste when required. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Guide assistance and support dogs are also welcome at the event.

  • Is there parking available onsite?

    Yes. However, there is limited space so please car share where you can. It is on a first come first serve basis, please park sensibly and listen to the parking attendant's instructions allowing as many cars as possible to fit in the area so that nobody misses out on the fun! 

  • Are there cash points available on site?

     There will not be any cash machines on site.

  • Will there be any toilet facilities?

    There will be a number of port-a-loos available.

  • What food and beverage facilities do you have available?

    We offer a great selection of hot food options. Please refer to our food menu for more details.

     Please help us keep the site nice and clean by clearing all of your rubbish up after you and using the bins provided.

  • Lost property

    There will be a manned lost property point onsite at the event in the same place as registration.

  • What happens if it rains?

    Unless there is a health & safety risk to our visitors, Cotswold Paddlefest will continue if it rains, after all, it is water sports that you are coming to try out! Only if the weather is torrential and causes the field to be waterlogged or it makes the event unsafe to hold then we will cancel it. 


  • What do I need to wear?

    You need to wear something you are happy to paddle in, preferably a wetsuit if you have one and something to keep the wind off you, but most importantly have a change of clothes and a towel with you in case you do get wet and something warm to put on after your paddle. If you have your own buoyancy aid and paddle please feel free to bring it along. Don't forget to pack some sun cream for the lovely hot weather we are going to have!

  • Are there changing rooms available?

    Yes, we have changing rooms available. 

  • Can I bring my own boat to launch on the lake?

    Yes, you can, but as this is about getting new people into paddling or trying out new boats you will be charged a £15 launch fee to be on the lake that day. 

  • Will there be Wifi available?

    Cotswold Paddlefest is an outdoor event and therefore Wi-Fi will not be available to visitors, you should be off your devices and enjoy the outdoors! There is however, 3G and 4G coverage subject to individual network providers.



  • How do I sign up for a demo?

    Once you arrive at the event, make your way to the registration office to fill in a disclaimer form and collect your wristband, which will then enable you to collect a buoyancy aid and go and see the suppliers to pick a boat to try out. Yes, you can try more than one boat out but please don't hog it for the day, everybody would like some water time! 

  • Will there be bicycle parking at the event?

    Yes, there will be a bike rack for you to lock your bike too. Please note bicycles are left at the owner’s risk.

  • Can I camp at the event?

    No. But for those that want to make a weekend of it or are travelling from further afield then please have a look at campsites nearby.  



  • Can I bring a picnic to the event?

    Absolutely, you are more than welcome to bring a picnic to Cotswold Paddlefest, there will be picnic benches available for you to use or plenty of space to put out blankets. Refreshments will be available on-site from our selection of food vendors. Take a look at our food menu to see what's on offer.
